01The problem
Companies in Saudi Arabia run attendance, payroll and labour-law compliance in separate tools: a biometric device with its own software, spreadsheets for payroll, manual social-insurance and end-of-service calculations, and iqama and contract renewals tracked from memory. A calculation error or an expired document turns into a fine or an employee dispute.
02What we built
We built one system with 25 modules: attendance is pulled from biometric devices and shown live, payroll is computed with social insurance and produces the wage-protection file, end of service follows Articles 84 and 85, and a compliance centre warns about Nitaqat, Saudisation and documents before they expire. Sensitive data is encrypted, and each company runs on its own subdomain.

FAQ
About this project
-
Can I subscribe to Milak?
Not yet. The system is being prepared for launch, and the link will appear here once it is available.
-
Does it work with our biometric devices?
Yes. It receives punches from devices over the internet or pulls them on the local network, and any punch not tied to an employee is held for review instead of being lost.
-
Are the statutory calculations reliable?
Social insurance, end of service and leave follow the labour law and are provided as decision support, not legal advice, with rules that can be updated when the law changes.
-
Is employee data safe?
Salaries, IBAN, national ID and iqama are encrypted in the database, and each company's data is isolated on its own subdomain.
